Hard tape CB tapes from Adheso-Graphics are engineered for caliper-consistent cylinder diameter build-up. These tapes may be used in place of common sleeve systems that require cylinder retro-fitting. CB tapes feature a unique acrylic adhesive system, coated on one side for application to cylinder surfaces. The non-adhesive side is provided for job type selection of proper plate mounting tape. AGI flex cushion, vinyl or thin type tapes are recommended for use in conjunction with CB tapes.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
FlexStik vinyl plate mount products provide accurate caliper control. Variations in the overall mounting tape are minimal. *Typical variations on a .050" thickness are within +/- .0015". FlexStik cylinder-side adhesive systems are very compatible with common plate types used in the market today. They display strong internal cohesive strengths, and ensure clean plate removal with little adhesive residue. Adheso products are manufactured to strict standards, maintaining an even coating profile that provides consistent finished roll-to-roll thickness.

MOUNTING SUGGESTIONS
FlexStik tapes are suited for use with various metal cylinder types. It is important that any surface to be adhered to be free of contaminants such as oils, dust or printing inks. Surfaces should be cleaned using an IPA solution prior to applying tape. It is recommended that the liner side of our tape be applied to the cylinder surface prior to plate mounting. Tapes are pressure sensitive: Once in contact with the cylinder a steady even distribution of pressure should be applied to the tape to ensure sufficient cylinder contact. After plate mounting onto CB, it may be beneficial to wrap plates on the cylinder for a period of 6-12 hours. This will allow the plate to conform to the circumference of the cylinder along with securing its adhesion to the tape.
